Edge-ucate is a Denver, Colorado based 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to taking education to the edge of the globe. Acting in the vision of its founder, Justin Kaliszewski, Edge-ucate seeks to build and operate schools in some of the most underdeveloped countries in the world. In a world where an estimated 115 million school-aged children are out of school and, 1.4 million children remain illiterate, it is our belief that a few dedicated people can make a difference. It is our mission to ensure that these children are given a chance despite economic conditions or conflict situations.

By selecting non-traditional sites for project schools we seek to build a foundation of opportunity for those who would otherwise have none. In countries like Nepal, site of the first planned Edge-ucate project school, conditions exist for nearly immediate tangible results. In this country 42% of the population lives below the poverty line and 47% of the work force remains unemployed. This means that small investments can produce large results
